Samsung tells users to get ready for One UI 7 upgrade

Samsung’s latest One UI 7 teaser indicates that the rollout will begin on time, which seemed slightly off track when it removed the rollout date from the US Newsroom. The latest video teaser tells Galaxy fans to “get ready for the all-new One UI 7.”

Stable One UI 7 is finally ready for the rollout

Samsung typically rolls out the latest One UI version a few weeks after Google releases a new version of Android around October. However, One UI 7 has been delayed significantly without clear communication from the brand. But last week, the brand announced that the stable rollout will be live from April 7 in many regions, including India, Korea, and the US. However, what followed next was disappointing.

Samsung quietly removed the press release from the US Newsroom that confirmed the One UI 7 rollout date. It published a banner (still live) that only says the rollout will begin in April without any actual date, potentially hinting at a delayed rollout. This also created doubt about whether other regions will start getting the update as promised. However, the latest teaser suggests Samsung is ready for the One UI 7 rollout.

Via the video teaser, Samsung tells users to get ready for the One UI 7 update. This suggests the update will indeed start rolling out from April 7 in many regions (if not the US). Samsung highlights some big features, such as Now Brief and deeper integration of Google Gemini for easier interactions.

The teaser also shows Galaxy AI in action for photo editing, and natural language search in Settings and Gallery app. Well, there’s a lot more in One UI 7 than just these AI features, such as new icons, widgets, vertical app drawer, extended customizations, improved Quick Settings panel, and a redesigned camera UI.
