While Samsung is busy expanding the One UI 7 beta, it’s also bringing the latest security patch to older devices running Android 14. The latest phones to get the March 2025 security patch update are the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3.
The newest security patch for the third-gen Galaxy foldables is currently rolling out in Korea. However, it should be available to more regions over the coming days and weeks. The update is tagged with the firmware version: F711NKSS8JYBD (for Galaxy Z Fold 3) and F926NKSS7JYBD (for Galaxy Z Flip 3) — and the update package size is around 350MB.

Although it’s not an exciting update, it’s surely an important one. The March 2025 security patch fixes 58 security flaws found in the previous software version. 11 of them are marked “critical” and 40 as “high” priority fixes. In addition to Google patches, Samsung has fixed seven vulnerabilities that are related to Bluetooth Auracast, Galaxy Watch Gallery, MAC address, and improper access control.
If you have a Galaxy Z Fold 3 or Flip 3, make sure to visit Settings > Software updates and tap the Download and install option to check if there’s an update. Sometimes, the update can take a few days to reach your device as it is rolled out gradually to all regions.
