Samsung Galaxy S24 series gets One UI 7 beta 5 update

Samsung has released a new One UI 7.0 beta update update for the Galaxy S24, S24+, and S24 Ultra. The update brings a host of bug fixes and several improvements, setting the stage for the stable release next month.

This is the fifth One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, which is currently rolling out in India and Korea. It’s tagged with the firmware version ending with ‘ZYC6’. The update package has a download size of around 975MB.

According to the changelog, the latest One UI 7.0 beta update addresses multiple issues related to the lock screen, Now Bar, widgets, and Gallery. It also fixes intermittent Blur issues and font/Image overlap issues and improves Media playback to display as a real-time notification, among many improvements. The update also adds Samsung Log function to Galaxy S24 and S24+ devices.

While the latest One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series is currently rolling out in India and Korea, it could arrive in the remaining regions (where the beta program is live) anytime soon.
