
Samsung has started rolling out the stable One UI 7.0 update to more flagship devices in India. After the Galaxy S24 series received the update earlier today, the company has now expanded the rollout to its latest foldables — the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Galaxy Z Flip 6, Fold 6 get stable One UI 7 update in India
The new update brings Android 15 and One UI 7.0 to the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6, introducing dozens of new features, refreshed UI design elements, upgraded Galaxy AI features, and better overall performance.
In India, the update is rolling out with firmware version F741BXXU2BYD9 for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and F956BXXU2BYD9 for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The download size is about 5GB for those who weren’t part of the beta program, and around 400MB to 500MB for beta testers. It also includes the April 2025 security patch.

If you’re using one of these foldables in India, you can check for the update by going to Settings » Software update » Download and install.
Samsung launched both devices in the second half of 2024 with Android 14 and One UI 6.1.1 out of the box. As part of Samsung’s promise to deliver seven generations of Android OS upgrades, this marks the first of those seven updates for the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6. That means these phones are expected to get updates all the way up to Android 21.
