Samsung has been on a roll lately with its One UI 7 rollout, pushing out the update to one Galaxy device after another with impressive speed. What started with the latest flagships is now expanding rapidly to more models, showing how serious Samsung is about timely software support. The Galaxy S24 FE is the latest to join the growing list of devices running Android 15 with One UI 7 on top.
After receiving the update in South Korea recently, the Galaxy S24 FE has now started getting One UI 7 in India, the United States, and parts of Europe. The update comes with the firmware version BYD9 and has a download size of around 5GB.

The rollout is picking up pace, and more markets are likely to follow soon. This is a welcome development for S24 FE users who were eagerly waiting for the feature-packed update.
With One UI 7, users can expect a refreshed user interface with smoother animations, deeper personalization, enhanced privacy controls, and several under-the-hood improvements. While some of the advanced Galaxy AI features remain exclusive to the premium Galaxy S24 models, the Fan Edition still benefits from plenty of functional upgrades across the UI, camera, and overall performance.
The update also includes the April 2025 security patch, addressing dozens of vulnerabilities and keeping your device protected against the latest threats.
This marks the first of seven major OS updates promised for the Galaxy S24 FE. Launched with Android 14, this phone will continue receiving new Android versions all the way up to Android 21 — a level of support that rivals even Google’s Pixel lineup.
If you’re using a Galaxy S24 FE, now’s the time to check for the update by heading to Settings > Software update > Download and install. And if it hasn’t shown up just yet, don’t worry — it should arrive in your region very soon.
