As if the One UI 7 drama wasn’t enough, Samsung has been doing weird things lately. Last week, the company announced the One UI 7 rollout date for the US and several other regions via a post on Samsung Newsroom — only to take it down shortly after. Now, the post is live again without any modifications.
The original press release, published on April 18, stated that Samsung would begin rolling out the One UI 7 update in the US starting April 10. However, the post was later removed from the website. Instead, a banner appeared that confirmed the update would go live in April but did not specify a date. This led to speculation that the rollout in the US might be delayed — otherwise, why would Samsung remove the official press release?
Now, Samsung has republished the original press release without any changes, meaning the rollout date remains the same. Interestingly, even the article’s original publication date hasn’t been changed. It’s unclear whether the removal was intentional or simply a mistake. The good news, however, is that the update schedule hasn’t been pushed back.

So, the One UI 7 rollout in the US will begin on April 10, starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Samsung has also confirmed that the update will reach more devices in the following weeks, including the Galaxy S24 FE, S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Tab S10 series, and Tab S9 series.
