Samsung’s latest foldable flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 6, is now getting the stable One UI 7.0 update in the United States. The update is currently available for the unlocked model, marking the third major region to receive the Android 15-based firmware within just a few days.
Earlier this week, Samsung rolled out the stable One UI 7.0 update in South Korea for the Galaxy Z Fold 6. This was followed by a wider European rollout earlier today, reaching markets like Germany, the UK, Italy, and Poland. And now, the update has made its way to the US (via), showing just how quickly Samsung is pushing One UI 7 to its flagship devices.

If you’re using an unlocked Galaxy Z Fold 6 in the US, you can check for the update by heading to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The firmware includes Android 15, the latest One UI 7 features, and the April 2025 security patch.
Samsung is on track to update more flagship phones throughout April. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is among the first batch of devices scheduled to receive One UI 7 this month, alongside the Galaxy S24, Z Flip 6, Galaxy S23 series, and Tab S10 lineup. Mid-range phones will join the party next month.
According to the official timeline, Samsung would wrap up the One UI 7 rollout by the end of June. But by that time Google would have released the stable version of Android 16. Thankfully, Samsung has already started working on One UI 8, which means we might not see major delays like One UI 7. But we’re not betting on it, especially looking at how things played out in recent months.
