Earlier today, the Galaxy S24 series started getting the One UI 7 in Europe, and now it’s treat time for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. The Android 15-based update is now available for these foldables in Europe, with Germany being the first confirmed country.
The update carries firmware version F741BXXU2BYCJ for the Flip 6 and F956BXXU2BYCK for the Fold 6. Besides One UI 7 goodies, the update also includes the April 2025 security patch.
Since this is a major update, it comes with a large download size of around 5GB, so be prepared for a lengthy install process. If you own either of these devices and live in Europe, the update might be ready for installation. Simply go to Settings > Software update and tap on Download and install.

The One UI 7 update brings a major UI design overhaul, with separate pages for Notifications and the Quick Panel. The Quick Panel itself has been redesigned — it now includes the volume slider and can be accessed by swiping down from the top-right corner of the screen.
You’ll also notice new app icons, upgraded stock apps, and a redesigned camera app with better one-handed accessibility. Samsung has introduced a new widget styling, more home and lock screen widgets, and additional lock screen customization options. Animations and transitions are also smoother, and there’s a new battery icon in the status bar along with a slick charging animation.
Another highlight is the introduction of the Now Bar — a pill-shaped, live notification system that appears on the lock screen and Always On Display (AOD). The update also adds Galaxy AI enhancements, the Daily Brief widget, and numerous other functional improvements.
As with other Galaxy flagships, this is just the beginning of the One UI 7 rollout in Europe. More regions and devices are expected to receive the update in the coming days and weeks.
