Galaxy S24 FE March 2025 security update rolling out

The March 2025 security update for the Galaxy S24 FE is currently available in Europe. The update is based on One UI 6.1, and comes with the firmware version S721BXXS3AYB3. While it’s currently available in Europe, Samsung won’t take long to bring it to other parts of the world.

The March 2025 security patch for Galaxy devices includes fixes for 58 security flaws found in the previous software version. Of them, 11 are marked “critical” and 40 are “high” priority fixes. Besides fixes from Google, the latest security patch includes several fixes from Samsung related to Bluetooth Auracast, Galaxy Watch Gallery, MAC address, and improper access control.

To check if the update is available for your Samsung Galaxy, go to Settings > Software update and hit the Download and install option. If you don’t see a new update, check again in a few days.

The Galaxy S24 FE is also eligible for the One UI 7 update that brings significant visual upgrades and some exciting upgrades. The brand, unfortunately, doesn’t offer beta access to ‘Fan Edition’ models and that also stands true for the Galaxy S24 FE (check One UI 7 beta eligible devices). However, the stable rollout will begin next month.
